Harvest Men
What does it look like to be a godly man who loves, leads, and serves like Jesus?
Is your desire to walk in a manner that God has called you to? Not sure how to do that or even what’s involved?
God’s word tells us “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence” (2 Peter 1:3).
Together we will take responsibility and strive to “make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love” (2 Peter 1:5-7).
Through our willingness to deepen our walk with God through these disciplines and His divine power, we can discern what it is to be a man of God
We will seek to gather monthly so that men can come together for a time of fellowship and friendship, sharing with one another, bearing with one another, and building each other up. We will eat food together and then be exhorted and encouraged from God's Word together so that we might be equipped for spiritual service and leadership in the home, church, workplace, and community. We pray it will be a great way to meet new friends and get to know the guys at Harvest Ayr better.
